Mobile App Research project won with Japanese Government
StrategyCore engaged with its partners to research mobile application marketplaces

July 8, 2014 - Together with its local partners, StrategyCore has secured a mobile app research project sponsored by the Japanese government, specifically METI (or the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry).
The goal of the project is to research the major iOS (Apple iStore) and Android (Google Play) App marketplaces for apps that are infringing the content of Japanese music, manga, and animation producers. Tests will be run to search using local language in the local marketplace, and to learn the process of sending such marketplaces requests for removal.
Compliance and overall timelines for removal of content will be assessed, analyzed and recommendations provided in order to consider the development of a mobile app content monitoring, noticing and compliance platform for usage of the Japanese content community.
