StrategyCore assists a Sharing Scooter company with JETRO subsidy for Global Innovation R&D
Japanese Government Internet of Things (IoT) Research and Development subsidy to help develop a Scooter Sharing Transportation-as-a-Service (TaaS)

September 8, 2016 - A global provider of electric scooter shared fleet services and technology location-based and fleet Telematics services, and Japan External Trade Organization ("JETRO"), a Japan government-related organization that works to promote mutual trade and investment between Japan and the rest of the world, today announced the formal approval of JETRO to provide a subsidy to help the development of the scooter and bicycle sharing technology for the local Japanese, Chinese, and South Korean markets.
StrategyCore members have been working with JETRO over the past few months to qualify for the subsidy through the extensive application process. StrategyCore will provide a team of sales, business development, and administrative professionals. In addition, the TaaS vendor shall provide global engineers with an assignment to execute on a research and development plan with an objective to localize and improve on current hardware and software components. It is expected that a successful R&D will extend further investment interest and partnerships across the Japanese market.
Japan is home to strategic electric vehicle, scooter, bicycle, electric vehicle components, and battery manufacturers which will allow the scooter sharing service to succeed in developing a truly global product from its partnership with StrategyCore and subsidy from JETRO.
